Choosing your Photographer Tips on How to get the best fit

I hope everyone had an amazing summer! For everyone who has gotten married over the summer, congratulations to you all! Now begins the beautiful autumn weddings that have a cool, cozy love feel rather than the summer blooming romance. If you just got engaged lately, congratulations to you too, and thanks for being here looking at my blog! This is such an exciting time for choosing all of your wedding vendors.

As many may now be starting their search for wedding photographers, I thought I would make a summary of myself and my packages to help those start to make their choices.

If you are just finding myself for the first time – Hi! My name is Nicole! I’m really not the best at introducing myself so I don’t think I’m going to rely on that! If you asked what my clients would say about me, they would probably say that I look young but that is definitely something you shouldn’t worry about. I like to say that because I am young and new, I am super into all of the latest trends. I recently graduated Algonquin College with a diploma in photography. Grew up in the city but a country girl at heart – farm wedding? I’m your girl.

I have been interested in wedding photography, specifically, since I was around eleven years old – surprisingly still where I sit today. I also love playing around with web design, you can check out my website if you’d like.

My style is warm and light, bright and romantic. Whimsical, yet different from that vintage, old-fashioned style that is going around right now. It is very photojournalistic and less posed.

I know many brides are shopping within a budget, and I believe that I can help you find what you want for a price that fits! But also know that many people underestimate the prices and time that goes into wedding photography – and in a general statement, you do get what you pay for.

Another thing that is not on most people’s minds, you should not choose a wedding photographer by price but by connection. The way to get the best images out of your special day is if you are comfortable with your photographer, on a friend basis to be optimal! The more relaxed and trusting you are, the more natural, loving and casual your photos will look. Before you decide on a wedding photographer, you need to relate. Let’s grab a coffee and talk about who you are and what you are looking for – no commitment!

What I want is every bride and groom to be happy and satisfied with their photography, at an affordable price, and with that, I include all of the basics in my starting package. For $1,500 I give you six hours of coverage, all of your digital images, an online gallery displaying them all, a print release, and a personalized wedding website to do what you wish with!

If you’re that one that is looking for all of the bells and whistles, but cannot afford to pay for that $5,000 photographer – I think I have the solution for you. Get my luxury collection for only $2,550, which includes unlimited hours of coverage, all your digital images, an online gallery, print release, personalized wedding website, engagement session, and a linen wedding photo album!

I am completely cool with customizing a package for you for the perfect in between of both packages! I have some 2013 dates available if your wedding is coming soon and you would like to book me. I am starting to book 2014 and 2015 dates for you big schedulers!

If you’d love to have a coffee to chat about things (or if you’re out of Ottawa, we’ll have a Skype date!) feel free to e-mail or call me. I LOVE to travel and can’t wait to understand each couple more just by seeing their wedding venues.

If you have any questions, have no hesitation! Thanks for taking the time to consider my work, I am honoured for you being on this page. Like my Facebook page and feel free to take a look at my recent work!

Cheers,

Nicole
