I met Monique + Curtis on a Wednesday afternoon in April. After having not such a great afternoon, there was something about the two of them that made me at ease. They were both calming and down to earth, maybe something in me made me instantly know Monique and I were cut from the same cloth. Meeting her man in high school and never looking back; their proposal story made me swoon in my sentimental heart. Being big baseball fans, Monique had given Curtis a baseball with their dating “stats” on it. She was delayed coming home from a girlfriends’ trip, already putting a kink in his plans. He wanted to take her to the farm, the place this equestrian spent so many hours. I guess he couldn’t wait another 24 hours for another golden hour sunset, he gave her that baseball that night. She discovered a newly added stat, engaged, November, 8th, 2015. “Engaged.”
I swooned at the idea of a horseback engagement! Monday night, Monique, Curtis and I headed to Green Glen Farm, her horseback riding farm, the one Curtis had intended to propose at. Such a quite, beautiful, peaceful place hidden in the hills of Kinburn. Can you believe this first photo is the first photo they took?! There is so much variety that it looks like we hit different properties! This one will make the most gorgeous bride. I absolutely cannot wait for their Stonefields Heritage Farm wedding in May!
