In 2016, two separate people in two separate worlds started university for the first time away from home. The only thing uniting them was Christ, standing at Redeemer University. And although they had met that year at the start of school, their first official date wasn’t until just before their third year of school. But when you’ve known each other that long, I would think it would just come a lot more natural. It was one heck of a long first date, hopping from cute shops, street performers, restaurants, Beavertails, and a movie!
I remember Heidi telling me there was less of a moment of realizing he was the one, and more of a moment where she realized it was too scary to even think about not having him around. Don’t find someone you can live with, find someone you can’t live without; you know?
Heidi got ready at her childhood home with her parents, sister, and friends from all walks of life gathered together. They headed to a nearby church where her childhood pastor married her and William in celebration with all of their family and friends.
Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and allowing us to capture your day. Now I sit here and wait for your honeymoon pictures of my favourite place ever, Barbados!
