These two med students met at the most unexpected time while studying at school. While finishing and starting respective programs, they don’t remember a time when it officially came together. Just casually going out or helping each other with school, friends parties, etc. It was when Natascha got accepted into medical school in Ottawa and Will got accepted into dental school in Toronto that they knew they had to be together despite the distance.
Four years later, picture a restaurant on the top floor of a 5-star hotel, sitting above the Spanish Steps, with a panoramic view of Rome and the Vatican. She says she was eating amazing food and interrupting Will’s beautifully thought out speech with her typical sarcastic comments, while he was clutching the ring box in between his thighs, he got down on one knee. She thinks she kissed him and stuck her hand out without saying yes or no. Swoon!
The three of us wandered the beautiful grounds of the Experimental Farm Arboretum where they have had many the picnics before. Thanks for coming back to Ottawa to hang out with me for the evening! Can’t wait to see these two again in August!
