Cranberry, gold & greenery wedding

My goodness, my cheeks are still huring from this one. I haven’t smiled and laughed so hard at a wedding in a long time. Some wedding days are filled with quiet elegance, then there’s groups like this where it’s laughs and jokes all day long. And I absolutely love getting to experience both of them. To the bridal party to the parents’ speaches, my gut hurt all day!

Marisa + Daniel met in seventh grade. Marisa had him in the friend zone for a long while, so with MUCH time and persistance, Daniel finally got her to go out with him in twelvth grade. Last year, Daniel treated her to a weekend getaway in Mont Tremblent. After a Saturday spent walking around the village and going to the spa, on the walk back to the hotel he popped the question. I love how their wintery engagement contrasts from their wedding day.

I loved spending a wedding day in my neck of the woods, Barrhaven! After a beautiful morning getting ready at their brand new home, they tied the knot* at my own childhood church, St Patrick, and danced the night away at Century Events.

Congratulations Marisa + Daniel! You have already built your relationship together so long, I know for sure yours will be genuinely long lasting.
