Gabriel contacted me a few weeks in advance to tell me about his upcoming dating anniversary with his girlfriend and how he was looking to propose! So sweet! I had sent him on a mission to scope out the perfect spot at the arboretum, where he sent me photos and maps. When the day came, I’m glad we were both able to go with the flow and figure out an alternative method on the spot, because oh did plans change!
There was a group of university students sharing what I think was a birthday celebration in the spot that he had planned, which made it much less intimate. When Max & I arrived early, after spotting this, we walked the perimeter of the planned location in hopes of spotting him or waiting for a text from him to hear of his ulterior plans. Fortunately, we saw the most adorable couple sharing a picnic on the lawn just outside of the area we had spoke about before.
Max & I tried to wander around them in order to not be far, but also not to seem like those rude people who sat oddly close to a couple who was obviously sharing a private, romantic picnic. I saw them start to pack up and Gabriel handed Pooja an album.
I snuck over behind a large tree where I watched her read the album, and turn to him smiling. He then shuffled onto one knee where he pulled out the most gorgeous solitaire ring.
Congratulations Gabriel + Pooja! Thank you for the honour of capturing this special moment in your lives!
Many congratulations to the most cutest couple ever! Love you Pooja and we all love the addition to the family Gab! Welcome to our so called “ large” loving family.
Again! Congratulations to the wonderful couple .
