Sarah + Jean

Giggly doesn’t even begin to describe this session. Just by the handful of times I’ve met her, I’m not sure Sarah can have a bad day. She just always seems to happy and optimistic. They are the kind of people who always go out for gelato and are perfectly fine with the same date night. Their first date was gelato, so how can you blame them. They met Labor Day Monday of 2013, so every year instead of celebrating the exact date, they always celebrate Labor Day Monday.

They knew almost right away they were meant to be. I guess in a way, you always know. When two people are at the same stage in life wanting to move forward, you know. Sarah knew it was coming for a while, she knew he had the ring, she just never knew when it was going to happen. They had a couples’  massage, he didn’t ask. Then they went to the same gelato shop they had their first date, he didn’t ask. They went home to watch Netflix and he went to put on his pyjamas, she thought the chances were over for the night, but when he “slipped” in the kitchen and she came running, there he was.

My cheeks hurt from smiling so much photographing these two. Thank you so much for letting me share your happiness. These two tie the knot* in September!
