I think I shrieked when I received an email from Megan telling me about this stunning view that changed her mind about where she wanted to get married, I was going to photograph a Prince Edward Island wedding!! Megan is from Calgary, Alberta and Shawn, originally from P.E.I., had moved to Calgary. Megan had originally planned on marrying in her hometown of Calgary, but after Shawn’s sister showed her the stunning property of the Gardens of Hope, her mind was immediately changed. Megan and Shawn met online and it didn’t take long until they were heading out on group dates with Shawn’s two precious children. Even through email, Megan and I hit it off right away and we started scheduling all of the details.
Friday afternoon, I flew out to gorgous Charlottetown, PEI. I had never been to the east coast before. They got ready at the gorgous Holman Grand Hotel and their ceremony site, just as gorgous as she had told me about. Congratulations Megan, Shawn and your new combined family!
