I woke up Saturday morning and immediately checked the weather. After looking outside to see that it was pouring rain, I may have questioned Amanda + Andrew’s luck. Their engagement session was quite wet as well, and we got a short dry spurt that we managed to fit their engagement photos into. I walked into to her parents’ announcing that she obviously was getting all the luck. Optimistically, we decided the weather forecast was going to work and the rain would taper off after the ceremony, just in time for portraits. It did so much more than that. As we drove from Greely to Maberly, and arrived at Camp Opemikon, it just got more and more sunny. By the time they pulled up with their bridal party, they had the most amazing glowing light.
The rest of the night went off without a hitch, even finally able to get her photos off Eagle’s Cliff that she dreamed of for so long (I have Max to thank for that adventure). They boated across the lake and hiked a short while up the cliff to get a fabulous view. I’ve never seen Camp Opemikon dressed up the way it looked that night. These two sweethearts couldn’t have had a better day. Congratulations Amanda + Andrew!
