Élise’s 9th Month Mama's Girl

Wow. Still not walking on her own yet but boy, does the girl ever want to move! Laps and laps around the coffee table, finally got the grasp on the traditional crawl, waving, and our first tooth is just starting to pop up! She is still much more focused on moving than speaking, but “mamama” is all day every day in this house and mama is all here for it. We’re starting to whisper “papapa” so of course we’re working on that one too.

I just wish the days of on-the-go naps would come back. *please?!?* For the last few months, she refuses to nap on walks, in the car, or worn in the sling, so when crib naps are protested, there’s no way to fix it. Yikes! It’s been a really tough month for a lot of reasons, but it’s also been really beautiful watching her grow. Max and I are amazed by her every day. And she makes me literally laugh out loud every day recently too, which helps me get through a lot. In 3 months, you’ll be 1 year old and that blows my mind.
