I’m not sure it could have started any better. Ashley emailed me wanting to meet over tea to discuss their Stonefields Heritage Farm wedding. I think we’re practically the same person. I was in love with the idea of everything every time she opened her mouth about every little detail. Little did I know, Stonefields also had this amazing, brand-new barn in the works that they would be having their reception in. Because if it wasn’t already my favourite Ottawa wedding venue, it just bumped itself up even higher to beat
From the moment I walked in the door, their families were so warm and welcoming wanting to help me with whatever they could. Although they were delayed, as almost all weddings are, they were still relaxed, not stressed and having a blast. It was so much fun for Max and I and made working the day so effortless. Can’t forget to say the whole family is talented too! Almost everything was DIY and you can’t tell. Ashley baked the whole dessert spread which was incredibly delicious!!
They couldn’t have picked a better weekend to have a Friday wedding. Ashley + Jon were blessed with the best possible weather any bride & groom could wish for, with a rainy day following, and the windiest day following that. Congratulations you two, can’t wait to see what fun you have in life and continue radiating joy! And thank you for getting me addicted to the most gorgeous wedding venue on the entire planet!
